Medifast has the worst tasting food I have ever tried, had to stop the program because I. couldn’t eat any of their food!!!
Hi Jenni, I’m sorry you didn’t find something you liked. We have over 70 different options to hopefully match everyone’s taste buds!
Maybe that’s because you’re used to everything having a lot of sugar or salt. The food is great, you just need to know what healthy food actually tastes like.
I didn’t like the food either Jenni, so I drink the ready shakes and the bars and I’ve lost over 90 lbs. You can make it work for you.
Hi Jenni,
It takes about a week or 2 to get used to the lack of sugar and gluten. After that point all the sudden the chocolate pudding actually tasted sweeter. Please don’t give up. I lost 30 pounds in my first 3 months and am still trying to loose my last 20 pounds. Try the mash potatoes into pancakes-uses an egg. this helped me a lot. I would also suggest a life coach. They can help you sample foods to find the ones that taste better to you. I wish you luck in your weight loss.
Hmm, I love it! Different strokes for different folks.
For the sugar free Angel food cake…Just store bought and follow the recipe? I’m not aware that we can have milk on Medifast? Also, how does this translate into our 5 & 1 please? Thanks so much!
Hi Jen, This is a maintenance recipe – so something to look forward to when you reach your goal and transition off of the 5&1!
Although there are a couple of products that aren’t the best tasting, there are plenty that are great. I found more than an adequate variety to meet my weight loss goal of losing 54 pounds
The food does time time to get used too, But when your like depends on losing weight you will try anything, There are many choices to choose from. I am no longer labeled a diabetic!! Thanks to the program!!!
