There is all this talk about coconut oil being so good for those who are trimming down. It seems there are differing opinions on this… I have been using olive oil, but unhydroganated coconut oil is said to be better???? is this true or are the experts still in conflict???

I have heard the same on coconut oil as Jennifer’s comment. I started to use a teaspoon in my oatmeal but then I stopped until I could read more about its benefits. I have a whole jar sitting around not sure if its really ok to add in my foods now.
    Thank you!

I’m doing the TSFL program, which uses the Medifast foods. Where can I find more recipes that are allowed on the 5 & 1 program? Thanks!

Hi Kris! There are many places to find recipes. Check out MyTSFL; many of the forums have recipes. Sandy’s Kitchen, a blog, shares Medifast-approved recipes. Both the Medifast and TSFL Facebook pages often share recipes, as well!

I had a client ask me if the product All Egg Whites were okay to use, and how to count them. I know we don’t recommend the egg substitutes because of additives, but this product is supposedly 100% egg whites.

All Egg Whites can be classified the same way as Egg Beaters: http://bit.ly/caGHDO. Two cups of Egg Beaters or All Whites is a Leanest Lean option.

I drink alcohol several times a week, but I don’t drink to excess. I typically drink 1-2 oz of whiskey with diet 7up as a mix. Also we eat out a few times a week with friends. I weigh 195 and am 5′ 10″ tall. Could medifast work for me?
